Marvelous Games announced today that Senran Kagura: Peach Beach Splash will be released in the west this Summer.

The game, that has just recently been released in Japan on March 16th, will retain the same platform for the western market, coming to PS4.

While the announcement only mentions Europe at the moment of this writing, it's pretty much doubtless that North America will follow suit.

Update: Xseed Games just confirmed to DualShockers that they will indeed publish the game in North America this summer, in line with their European counterparts.

Senran Kagura: Peach Beach Splash is a third-person-shooter based on water battles, including a single player story mode and 5v5 online battles, on top of a co-op mode similar to the classic horde mode.

The game includes more than 30 playable characters (plus more already released in Japan as DLC, even if we have no info on the western release plans for those), 800 attribute cards and ten different kinds of water guns, from sniper rifles to rocket launchers.

Marvelous promised more information coming at a later time.
