Today Sony Interactive Entertainment Japan and Asia released a new trailer of the upcoming Shadow of the Colossus remake.

The trailer showcases several of the battles against the colossi that we'll have to face in the game, giving us another look at how the visual overhaul performed by the good folks at Bluepoint Games turned a PS2 game from 2005 into what could easily be mistaken for a native PS4 game if we did not know any better.

Having tried the game recently at Paris Games Week, I can say that I was absolutely amazed by how much the game has changed. To be completely honest, seeing a trailer on YouTube doesn't even do it fully justice. Seeing it run on a big screen natively on PS4 is a bit of a shock, even more so if you skipped the intermediate step on PS3 (but even if you didn't, the difference is still massive).

You can check it out below. If you want to see more, you can enjoy the opening of the game and the first boss fight, the newly-introduced photo mode, and a graphics comparison between the various versions of the game.

Shadow of the Colossus will release on February 6th, 2018, exclusively for PS4.
