Initially released as a critically-acclaimed title through Xbox Live Arcade, the beloved Shadow Complex may soon be getting a second life, after a ratings listing indicated that the title may be receiving a remastered treatment in the very near future.

A new ratings listing has appeared for Shadow Complex Remastered on the European video games rating board PEGI, indicating that the 2009 Metroid/Castlevania-styled action/adventure game will be receiving a current-generation upgrade in the near future.

The current ratings listing reveals Shadow Complex Remastered as coming to the PC with a PEGI “16” rating (the same as the game’s original release), though the listing’s release date puts it at December 2nd, 2015: most likely a placeholder until a final release date is confirmed.

Shadow Complex is currently available for Xbox 360, though the title is also available to play on Xbox One through backwards compatibility. Stay tuned for more updates on Shadow Complex Remastered as news develops.
