After months of anticipation, the remake of Shadow of the Colossus is finally here, and to celebrate Sony Interactive Entertainment has uploaded a launch trailer, showcasing snippets of gameplay footage and flaunting the game's stunning visuals.

Initially released on October 18, 2005, for the PlayStation 2, Shadow of the Colossus tells the story of a young boy named Wander who travels to a forbidden land to revive a loved one. To do so, Wander must traverse this uncharted territory on horseback and defeat sixteen intimidating beings known as "colossi."

Aside from updated visuals of the game, the Shadow of the Colossus remake was rebuilt from the ground up specifically for the PlayStation 4 by Bluepoint Games and also introduces new features not found in the original version, Including a new control scheme and photo mode just to name a few.
