Shadow of the Eternals Kickstarter Update Brings in Two New Characters to the Fold

on May 15, 2013 7:37 PM

Precursor Games has started a Kickstarter campaign to help fund the spiritual sequel to Eternal Darkness, Shadow of the Eternals, which has raised almost $60,000 with 34 days to go. This campaign is working in conjunction with the Crowdfunding on their official website. If you are interested in supporting this Kickstarter, you can donate either at the Kickstarter page or on their official page.

The latest update announces two new characters to the game: Tyrannus, a soldier who is resentful toward those who receive political power through their fathers and not their own merit, and a vengeful Viking who was lynched and badly mutilated by the villagers of his hometown.

Another point of interest in the update is that Denis Dyack, one of the members of Precursor Games, will make a future vlog that addresses a Kotaku article written last year. To sum it up, Kotaku wrote a piece that accused Dyak, who was then the head of Silicon Knights, of being a “tyrant” and being responsible for the failures and shortcomings of that studio. Dyak denies all accusations made against him.
