Shadowrun Returns: Dragonfall Set for Standalone Director’s Cut Release This Fall

on July 28, 2014 6:49 AM

Shadowrun Returns heralded the return of a long-dormant franchise with its release last year, and now developer Hardbrained Schemes is set to bring even more content from the game into the hands of fans both new and old.

The Dragonfall DLC for the game, released earlier this year as an add-on for Shadowrun Returns, will now see a standalone “Director’s Cut” release in September, with the developer confirming the release but not providing any details on if the release will add any new content or changes.

Aside from the standalone release, the “Director’s Cut” version of Dragonfall will come free to those that either backed the original title on Kickstarter, or that currently own the expansion on PC, Mac, or Linux.

Stay tuned for more information on the standalone release of Dragonfall, coming in September.
