With an update on the official Kickstarter page, the Shenmue III development announced that the rewards previously announced as Kickstarter exclusive won't be made available to those who will back the game via PayPal.

The decision was taken after a survey to which all Kickstarter backers who offered more than $5 were invited to respond. 4,009 of the 15,110 backwers who responded asked for the Kickstarter rewards to remain exclusive, and YS Net decided to comply with that request.

In addition to that, the official website has undergone a facelift, while the developers promise to be "noses to the grindstone to make the next installment of Shenmue worthy of the expectations" that the fans entrusted to them.
