ShockCast Episode 105 – “Giuseppe Hates Everything”

on March 24, 2012 12:00 PM

OK people, you can all relax. Your weekend is now complete. The ShockCast is finally here. An event took place in NYC that prevented us from getting this up on its normal day and time but as they say it’s better late than never right. RIGHT?!

For this week’s main topic we discuss fan backlash and whether or not it affects our decision to buy a certain title that is on the recieving end of such criticism. Be warned that things get a bit heated during this discussion. For our second topic we discuss crossovers that we would love to see made into a reality. All of that along with the week in news make this week’s show another winner. Make sure you give it a listen!

Chad joined the DualShockers staff in mid 2009 and since then has put much of his time into covering RPGs, with a focus on the Japanese side of the genre, from the obscure to the mainstream. He's a huge fan of iconic games like Secret of Mana, Final Fantasy VI and Persona 4 yet enjoys the smaller niche titles, as well. In his spare time he enjoys experiencing new beer, new foods and keeping up with just about every sci-fi show on television. He's married to an intelligent, beautiful Southern Belle who keeps his life interesting with witty banter and spicy Cajun cooking.

Hailing from sunny (not as much as people think) Italy and long standing gamer since the age of Mattel Intellivision and Sinclair ZX Spectrum. Definitely a multi-platform gamer, he still holds the old dear PC nearest to his heart, while not disregarding any console on the market. RPGs (of any nationality) and MMORPGs are his daily bread, but he enjoys almost every other genre, prominently racing simulators, action and sandbox games. He is also one of the few surviving fans of the flight simulator genre on Earth.

 /  Staff Writer
Originally hailing from the magical land of Delaware, Emily took a knowledge-based pilgrimage to NYC and will never go back. Known as "buttmage" to her friends, she is a cosplayer with a penchant for sarcastic females and girly men. Lives unapologetically. Loves Final Fantasy, Legend of Zelda, Prince of Persia. and anything with a good story.

 /  Assistant Community Manager
A gamer from the Midwest, Megan has loved video games since feeling the rush of beating a final boss for the first time. When not writing for Dualshockers, she can be found thinking up crazy amounts of fanfiction or buried in any random MMORPG. Her favorite games include Dragon Age, Mass Effect, Phantasy Star, Star Ocean, Guilty Gear, and almost anything out of the ‘Tales’ series.
