Shovel Knight is getting a massive update dubbed Shovel Knight: Plague of Shadows and it'll be for free to those who buy the main game.

The update will introduce an interesting looking new playable character called the Plague Knight as well as remixed game content. There will also be new enemies, bosses and objectives. We'll get our first look at Shovel Knight: Plague of Shadows at PAX East.
