Shuhei Yoshida Cryptic in his Opinion of Beyond: Two Souls, Excited for David Cage’s Next Project

Shuhei Yoshida, President of Sony’s Worldwide Studios informed his followers today that he had recently visited David Cage, Director of Beyond: Two Souls, in Quantic Dream’s Paris studio. Mr. Yoshida very briefly noted a meeting between the two where he discussed his feelings on Beyond: Two Souls and his anticipation of Mr. Cage’s next project.

While the details provided by Mr. Yoshida are slim, we do know two things: he shared his “honest feedback” with Mr. Cage, and that he, “reassured how much I’m excited with his next project.” Using the term “honest feedback” and following it up with reassurance does not really give off the impression that what he said to say to Mr. Cage about Beyond: Two Souls was overwhelmingly positive, but this is purely speculation based on a person’s use of the language. Twitter is not the best medium to judge cadence or nuance.

Beyond: Two Souls was developed by Quantic Dream and published by Sony Computer Entertainment for the PlayStation 3.
