Today, during Nippon Ichi Software's 25th anniversary livestream on Nico Nico from the e-Sports Square venue in Akihabara, Tokyo, Grasshopper Manufacture President Goichi Suda joined his Nippon Ichi counterpart Souhei Niikawa on stage to announce The Silver 2425.

This actually isn't a new game, but it's basically a collection including the remaster of Suda-san's The Silver Case and the upcoming remake The 25th Ward: The Silver Case.

The Silver 2425 will be released in Japan on March 25th, 2018 for Ps4.

The standard edition will cost 6,980 yen plus taxes, while a collector's edition will also be available for 9,980 yen plus taxes, including a soundtrack and an artbook. A third edition will add a T-shirt to the bundle, costing 12,980 yen, but it will be exclusive to Nippon Ichi Software's own online store.

The Silver Case is Grashopper manufacture's debut title, originally released on PlayStation in 1999. The stand-alone remaster was released last year for PC in October 2016, and for  PS4 in April 2017.

The 25th Ward: The Silver Case is the episodic sequel to The Silver Case, and was originally a mobile title released in 2005. At Bitsummit in Kyoto this year it was announced that it would be remade with the addition of new chapters.

Alongside the announcement, we also got a trailer, which you can enjoy below. No plans for a western release have been announced, for the moment.
