Skullgirls to Vandalize the PC this Year, Forthcoming Patch Detailed

on May 2, 2012 7:30 PM

Skullgirls publisher Autumn Games has announced that its bringing the stylish, critically acclaimed fighter to the PC. This is great news for anyone who was interested in the game but locked out by console exclusivity. The game will be available for download from many popular services, including Steam, GameFly, GameStop PC Downloads, EA Origin and GamersGate.

Skullgirls will hit the PC with in-game command lists, and many more improvements compared to the console versions. These include modified single-player AI (probably lowering the overall difficulty), an improved leaderboard, gamer ID display while online, and more tutorials and multiplayer regions.

Fret not console players! All of these improvements will be available in a free patch. The release window for the PC port and console patch is later this year, which is pretty vague but still awesome. Big congratulations to the people at Reverge Labs on all the success with the game! I’m absolutely smitten and I think they earned every purchase.
