Skyrim Contains the Landmass for All of Tamriel

If you’ve been playing Skyrim as much as our staff has been (to the point where I don’t think any of us are getting anything resembling a decent amount of sleep), you’ve probably noticed that the world is pretty damn big. Well to be blunt, you have NO idea. An enterprising Tumblr user decided to turn on no-clip and head outside the boundaries of the world to find a shocking revelation: all of Tamriel is present and accounted for in the form of the proper landmass.

The further out you go the less detailed the world gets to where it’s eventually a texture-less blob but it’s a blob in the proper shape of the lands of Morrowind and Oblivion. The big question everybody’s asking of course, is why? My money is on either future DLC, or just because Bethesda felt like showing off.

Head to the Tumblr post above for more screenshots and details as to what lies beyond the edge of the world.
