I don’t know about anyone else, but I’ve loved the last two and a half dozen hours I’ve spent so far with Skyrim. Apparently the game boasts some issues that need to be addressed, and that is exactly what Bethesda is going to do with a forthcoming patch. Bethesda VP Pete Hines kindly asks that fans be patient, as updates don’t happen overnight. He told a particularly unruly fan via Twitter that “Patches/updates take a little time”.
He goes on to promise patches for all platforms the game is available on that alleviate a number of glitches and bugs. I know that everyone has a completely different experience from technical standpoint with these open world games, so I’m just thankful that I haven’t ran into any game-breaking glitches or bugs so far. This means that Bethesda is aware of whatever technical issues players are having and they are hard at work addressing them.
