Skyrim Wins Inside Gaming Awards 2011 Game of the Year

While many award shows never seem to get it right (I’m looking at you Spike TV Video Game Awards) the Inside Gaming Awards have just wrapped up in Hollywood California where The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim has just snatched up the top spot of the evening.

This was the third edition of The Inside Gaming Awards, and the winners were chosen by the editorial staff from Machinima. This is the first of many video game award shows that are on the horizon, but something tells me that Todd Howard and company better get comfortable speaking on podiums in front of large audiences as this certainly won’t be their last Game of the Year award.

Chad definitely agrees with the verdict, as he gave The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim a 10/10 in his review here at DualShockers. I bet Giuseppe is nodding too, considering his weekly Skyrim modding column, he must love the game as well.
