Today, developer Sumo Digital announced that its puzzle platforming game, Snake Pass, is coming to Nintendo Switch, in addition to the previously announced platforms: PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

For those that don't know, Snake Pass is being developed in Unreal Engine 4, and is Sumo Digital's very first original title. In the physical action-puzzle game you play as snake Named noodle, and will have to slither, curl and climb your way through increasingly challenging worlds filled with evermore intricate obstacles and fiendishly mind-bending objectives

The game boasts 15 levels, four world themes each with unique features and hazards, and an organic difficulty curve.

Sumo Digital writes the following over on a new blogpost:

"Everyone on the team is a huge fan of all things created by Nintendo and the opportunity to bring Snake Pass to the Nintendo Switch is a dream come true. Especially for Snake Pass creator; Seb Liese."

Liese himself, added:

“I always thought Snake Pass would be great fit for a Nintendo platform but I never dreamed it would come out so close to the launch of their brand-new console!”

Snake Pass is scheduled to release sometime in Q1 2017. A price point is still unknown.
