There's no greater sense of satisfaction than shooting someone in the face and watching their bodies go limp as they fall on their faces. Anyone who's played SOCOM knows what I'm talking about. Covertly moving around trying your hardest to remain undetected while searching for your prey is one of the most intense feelings you can get in SOCOM. And because we love this intensity so much, Sony has announced a new SOCOM PSP title hitting retail shelves on November 24, 2009.

SOCOM: U.S. Navy Seals Fireteam Bravo 3 was announced today on the PlayStation Blog along with a couple of new additions that have made its way to the game. For those of you pre-order whores, you'll be glad to know that a program, which starts today, has been announced in which you get "two powerful new multiplayer units outfitted with new lethal weapons." Details after the jump.New Special Forces

Kommando Speizialkrafte (KSK): Play as the deadly KSK. Formed at the end of the Cold War, the KSK operates under the Special Operations Division. These badass mofos go through an intense training program which takes up to three years to complete over 20 counter-terrorism specialist courses. Let's see the bastards in Afghanistan and Iraq fuck around with these guys. Those turbans they have in their heads would be turned into napkins after these dudes are done with them. But wait, there's more.

Aside from having these badass German dudes mentioned above, who apparently eat babies, another unit is also thrown into the mix.  An elite group of British men with a killing attitude and a pocket full of teabags make these bastards the elite of the elite. Special Air Service (SAS) are considered the template by which other Special Forces are organized and has its origin in the North African Theatre of World War II. Their motto? "Who Dare Wins," Ouch... that crap sounded tougher than horse meat.

New Weapons

SOCOM wouldn't be what it is without an arsenal of guns and gadgets. I mean, you do need pretty good and up-to-date weapons if you are going to take out your foes effectively and efficiently. Enter the new toys:

F2000: These are the assault rifles that the German KSK dudes like to pack. The F2000 offers the most popular features of the modern assault rifle including a compact bullpup layout, completely ambidextrous handling and a modular design with tons of options and add-ons which allows the rifle to be modified for any mission or tactical situation.

AS-50: The English aren't just about Harry Potter, minced meat pie, and soldiers with big furry hats. Fuck no. These SAS guys come packing the deadly accurate AS-50 BMG sniper/anti-material rifle. The AS-50 .50 BMG sniper/anti-material rifle enables its handlers to engage targets from afar with high accuracy. This rifle is lightweight and transportable and can be disassembled in less than three minutes.

If you're ready to get your pre-order on, you can go ahead and run by retailers such as Best Buy, GameStop, and Amazon.com and do your thing. You can also purchase your copy of SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Fireteam Bravo 3 from the PlayStation Network within the first 30 days of launch and still receive the pre-order Special Forces. Now, get to it soldiers. I'm going to be running train on people in this one...
