Every time we get a new look at Frictional Games’ upcoming sci-fi horror game, SOMA, it looks like the creators behind the Amnesia series try to creep us out just a little more than the last time. The newly released “Theta” trailer, which you can view below, not only offers a little more background on the game’s creepy start, but does it solely through the use of scenery and voiceover work.

SOMA has released three video teasers so far, including “Vivarium” and “Mockingbird” and a gameplay video. The game is set to release to PC and PS4 sometime in 2015.  For more on the game, check out the SOMA website .

Born and raised in video games and "geek culture," Masoud has been bred off of fantasy worlds his entire life and doesn't see anything wrong with that. He loves RPGs (especially TRPGs), sandbox games, the sci-fi genre, dieselpunk, art deco, and anything that allows him to create. Having graduated from John Jay College with a degree in English and a minor in Creative Writing, Masoud hopes to one day pen the same novels, comics, movies, and video games he enjoys escaping into when the real world gets too boring.
