Song of Memories, a game that DualShockers has been covering quite a lot of in the past, will receive a western release from developer Pure Wish.

The visual novel is set to release on PlayStation 4 in North America and Europe this fall, with a Switch and PC port to follow the release set for 2017 and 2018, respectively.

Song of Memories is a visual novel the follows the male protagonist Minato Kamishiro who is a normal high school student. However, the world have been affected by an unknown plague that is driving people crazy and transforming them into something else.

Minato's childhood friend, Kanon, suddenly moves in to live with him and sister, they discover she has a strange app on her phone called "Dream 4 you". The launch the app and five girls in costumes say "when danger comes, call upon us, and we’ll protect you.” This is the last normal day of Minato's.

The announcement from Pure Wish didn't address whether or not the Switch or the PC version of the game will receive a western release, but they will feature localized text in English and French.

Additionally, Pure Wish is planning a sequel to Song of Memories, but little information has been provided.
