Today, one-man development studio Wizard Fu released some new gameplay footage of Songbringer, an action RPG set to release on PS4, Xbox One, PC, Mac, and Linux sometime this summer.

More specifically the new gameplay footage -- which is one minute and 57 seconds long -- features one of the game's many boss battles. For those that don't know: Songbringer, is a procedurally generated action RPG set in a 13,000 B.C. Milky Way, that often draws comparisons to Zelda. In it, you play as Roq, a shirtless carefree dude just cruising the galaxy in search of the ultimate party aboard the space-faring art party ship, Songbringer. You know, Rager Roq? The cooler version of Link.

So what's the catch? Well, one day Roq accidentally awakens an ancient evil army, and the galaxy as he knows it is thrown into war. Now it’s up to him and his trusty sidekick, Jib, to save the galaxy from total destruction. For more information on the game be sure to check out our previous post diving deeper into the story, gameplay, and more.

Hate reading? Me too, sometimes: below you can check out the new gameplay footage as well as a batch of the game's screenshots, which together should give you a good idea what the game is all about.
