Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed was a great game, even if it didn’t get the attention it deserved. Recently Sega tweeted a set of screenshots teasing the appearance of Shenmue‘s Ryo Hazaki, and now it seems that not only is he joining the game, but coming to the newly announced iOS and Android versions.

Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed on mobile devices comes with all of the modes and gameplay of the console versions, as well as synchronous and asynchronous online multiplayer races, integrated Facebook and Game Center functionality (which lets players see their friends’ profile pictures as they zoom past them on the track), and iOS7 and Android controller support.

Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed is now available at the App Store and Google Play Store. For more on the game, check out the trailer below. For more on the franchise, check out all of our Sonic news.
