Sony Adds Pre-Order Ability to PSN Titles Starting With Sorcery

A new update has been added to the PlayStation 3 that I honestly can’t believe took this long to become a thing. Beginning with the upcoming Move game Sorcery¬†players will be able to pre-order certain PSN titles and have them available to play on release date. I seriously can’t believe this isn’t something Sony and Microsoft weren’t already doing as it just makes a ton of sense. Steam has already made great use of a similar system to this and it’s hard to ignore such a good idea.

Although the question now begs to be answered: how long until we start seeing pre-order incentives for downloadable titles? My money is on “soon.”
