Today Sony Interactive Entertainment announced a PlayStation Experience event for the South East Asian region.

The event will be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on August 5th, 2017. It will be the first PlayStation-focused in South East Asia, inspired by the PlayStation Experience event held annually in the United States.

Fans in attendance will be able to try the E3 demos of PS4 and PlayStation VR games including Detroit: Become Human, Everybody’s Golf, Far Cry 5, Gran Turismo Sport, Knack II, and No Heroes Allowed! VR, with further titles to be announced at a later date.

There will also be stage events with developers sharing information on upcoming games, and plenty of giveaways.

The event will be held from 10 AM to 10 PM at the KL Live venue, with admittance being completely free.

More info including further playable game, schedule for the panels and events, and the swag that will be provided to attendees, will be posted on the official site.

Incidentally, the main PlayStation Experience in the United States has already been confirmed for this year, and will be held on December 9th and 10th in Anaheim, California.
