It is incredible that the launch of the PlayStation 3 was a mere six years ago. Six years ago we had no trophies, a functional PSN that barely resembled the one we have now, and a launch lineup that was utterly forgettable. Amongst the games in this lineup there was one that has echoed throughout the console’s lifecycle: Resistance: Fall of Man. The first-person shooter launched alongside the PS3 and has spawned two sequels (Resistance 2 & Resistance 3), all three of which Sony has announced will be re-released as a collection this winter.
Sony has promised that the collection will also contain some of the more important DLC add-ons including, “the Aftermath Pack and skin bundle from Resistance 2, and both the Brutality and Survival Packs from Resistance 3.” The collection has been priced at $39.99 and will launch this winter, Sony has promised to reveal the official release date in the coming weeks.
