During Sony Corporation's Quarterly Financial Conference Call, Chief Financial Officer Kenichiro Yoshida talked about the sales performance of the new PS4 Pro.

Yoshida-san mentioned that the launch of PlayStation VR contributed to sales of PS4 Pro, and then added that PS4 Pro is performing in line or even better than what the company anticipated.

"PS4 Pro is running as we had assumed, but Pro maybe is doing more than we anticipated."

Responding to a following question, Yoshida-san also mentioned that one "hopeful thinking" for Sony Pictures is leveraging IPs from the Game segment of the business, which is something that Sony can do because it owns both the PlayStation business and its film business.
