Sony Considered Live Concerts Featuring PlayStation Games’ Music

Sony Computer Entertainment’s games always come with awesome soundtracks, so it’s not surprising that many would probably pay to see a live concert featuring those great tunes.

SCE Worldwide Studios America Music Team Director Chuck Doud mentioned during the Music Magic panel at PlayStation experience that the company actually considered the possibility.

There’s been ideas kicked around about that over the years, actually for quite a while, but nothing has manifested yet with that. I mean, personally I think it’s a great idea.

Personally, I’d definitely would love to see those ideas take shape and become a real series of live performances. Square Enix already does it successfully with the Distant Worlds concerts, so there’s no reason for Sony to hold back.
