Sony Drops the Axe on Bloodborne’s Video Showing Secret Areas from the PS4 Alpha Test

on October 13, 2014 1:08 PM

A couple weeks ago, we reported about a secret area accidentally left accessible in the alpha of Bloodborne by From Software, showing several elements including a very relevant boss and a miniboss.

Looks like Sony did not like the leak, and the company dropped the copyright axe on the video, which is now unavailable. No action has been taken against other videos showing normally accessible content, and according to Producer Jun Yoshino there was no NDA in place.

This definitely seems to support the theory that the “flaw” found in the alpha causing the delay of the last day of testing to a date still to be determined might indeed be the access to the aforementioned are itself.

Luckily, footage of the area lives on in the recording of RyuuJin882‘s livestream and in the video below, courtesy of YouTube user The Marcelus. Be advised that they include spoilers.

Incidentally, the game is playable today in Sapporo, Japan, for the PlayStation LIVE Circuit event. No new date for the alpha test has been mentioned, for the moment.
