Sony Extends Holiday and Flash Sales Following PSN Outages and Issues

on December 30, 2014 9:34 AM

Last week, Christmas and the holiday cheer was slightly dampened due to a rash of outages across PSN and other gaming networks, and while the experience is less than enjoyable, Sony is taking to ensure that the Grinch hasn’t stole Christmas by extending some of its sales and offers due to the issues.

Over on the PlayStation Blog, Sony has announced that the Holiday Sale and Flash Sales currently available on PSN will be extended for a few more days due to the downtime on PSN last week. Specifically, the current Flash Sale will be extended to tomorrow, December 31st, with the Holiday Sale being extended a few more days to run through January 6th, 2015.

With the Flash Sale and Holiday Sale both offering discounts on some of this year’s biggest titles like Middle-earth: Shadow of MordorAlien: IsolationDragon Age: Inquisition, and way way more, hopefully the sale extensions makes up for some of the downtime with PSN.
