Sony Files Trademark “Days Gone” For Games and Online Games

According to a registration with the United States Patent and Trademark Office, on December 28th Sony filed for a rather vague but interesting mark named “Days Gone.”

The mark is filed under Class 9, identifying game software, as well as Class 41, online game software.

It’s worth mentioning that class 41 doesn’t necessarily mean that, if we’re talking about a new game, it will be online. The class is required for any kind of online feature, including smaller ones like leaderboards and similar.

As of yet, Sony hasn’t shown or released anything that gives a clue to what this trademark might be related to. Could it be a new IP? Only time will tell. You can drop your best guesses in the comments and check out the listing below:
