Sony Releases Free inFAMOUS: Second Son Official Soundtrack on PS4 as Thanks for Supporting the Game

Apparently Sony Computer Entertainment is grateful for the support shown by its customers for the launch of inFAMOUS: Second Son, and to better express that gratitude, the publisher decided to release the full original soundtrack of the game for free.

Yes, it’s FREE. As a thanks for supporting the spectacular launch of inFAMOUS Second Son, the team at Sucker Punch Productions and PlayStation want to say THANKS for all your support in the form of this free app featuring the awesome music of inFAMOUS Second Son.

Featuring 29 original pieces from the original score, the inFAMOUS Second Son Original Soundtrack album showcases an exciting collaboration between veteran composers Marc Canham (Far Cry 2), Nathan Johnson (Looper, Brick) and Brain (Tom Waits, Primus). The score echoes Delsin’s experiences finding and fighting his way through the forces that have besieged his city. A brilliant blend of chaotic guitars, musical sound design, and driving grooves, this innovative collection is inspired by both the plight of the game’s characters and its iconic setting.

You can find it on the Sony Entertainment Network Store here and download it directly to your PS4. The app weighs 480 megabytes and apparently it has been released only on the North American store for the moment, but the European one will probably follow suit when it’ll be updated on Thursday.

According to the latest data published by Sony Computer Entertainment itself, inFAMOUS: Second Son moved over a million units worldwide in its first nine days on the shelves, making it the fastest selling inFAMOUS game of the history of the franchise.

You’re welcome, Sony.
