If you think that the PS4 remaster of God of War III might open the door from more ports of the old adventures of Kratos to the PS4, Sony Santa Monica Community Strategist Aaron Kaufman mentioned that there are no plans for those on the comments of a PlayStation Blog post.

No plans for others in the franchise to bring over.

Since many are still quite resistant to the idea of remasters, Kaufman also explained the studio's stance on why they are made:

We hear you and that’s OK, remasters often help us open the door to new players who perhaps did not play God of War 3 5yrs ago, but who we can bring it to on the PlayStation 4. People often forget, the more players we can bring into a franchise, the better for everyone. At Santa Monica Studio, we’d like as many PlayStation fans to experience our games as possible, form generation to generation.

About God of War III: Remastered, looks like we can expect great things:

July 14th isn’t that far away, it’s smoooooooth.

What about the studio's new project on PS4? As usual, Patience is the key:

Beef wellington is awesome, fine food takes patience.

We are working on a PlayStation 4 project, we’ve stated that publicly, we hear you loud and clear.

That said, God of War III: Remastered might not be Beef Wellington, but it might prove to be a good appetizer.
