Sony Santa Monica Hiring in a “Major Way” for its “Next Big PlayStation 4 Game”

on March 14, 2016 6:48 PM

Sony Santa Monica had a major downsizing in 2014, causing the cancellation of a game and many lost jobs. Now they’re working on their upcoming PS4 game (and we know what it is, even if Sony did whatever it could to hide the tracks of that slightly awkward reveal), and today we hear that they’re hiring in a “major way” for  it.

As mentioned in an article on GamaSutra, the studio is planning to hire upward o fifty developers across all disciplines.

We also learn that the new game is “well into production.”

Will we finally hear about Sony Santa Monica’s next big game at E3? Time will tell, but my money is on a reveal not too far away in the future.
