Sony Santa Monica Hosting God of War Event in March; Expects to Play “Significant Role” in Next PlayStation Experience

Sony Santa Monica’s Studio Head Shannon Studstill posted today a message on the developer’s official website looking back to 2014 and forward to 2015, and it included some interesting details.

Studstill looks back to the cancellation of the unannounced (and possibly destined to remain forever unknown) PS4 project, that caused many developers at the studio to lose their job, calling it “one of the most challenging days” of her career.

Yet, she’s also looking ahead, and we learn that in March the studio is going to celebrat 10 years of God of War with a special event.

In late March we are going to celebrate 10-years of God of War in a special anniversary celebration for our fans. Hey, that’s you. We’re looking forward to this.

And that’s not all: we also get a tease for the next PlayStation Experience.

And while I’m sure the PlayStation Experience will be back for Round 2 sometime late next year, we expect that Santa Monica Studio will play a significant role in it yet again.

That’s quite promising, isn’t it?
