In a new report from Meristation, Sony has sold 80,000 PS4s so far in Spain while 12,000-15,000 consumers are still waiting for a pre-ordered console.

According to CEO of Sony Spain James Armstrong, compared to Microsoft’s Xbox One in Spain, the sales ratio is 3.5:1 (nearly four to one) in Sony’s favor. The company has been having supply issues in Spain so they’ve been offering more consoles about once a week. This week over 15,000 PS4s have been stocked in advance to meet supply and pre-order demand.
