Sony Shipped 2 Million PS3 in Q2 FY 2013; Lost $8 Million in Gaming Division but Software Sales Increased

According to Sony’s latest financial report for Q2 FY 2013, the company overall had an overall net loss of $197 million with an $8 Million loss in the gaming division. They also shipped two million PS3s during this financial quarter.

Software sales have increased, however, mainly due to Grand Theft Auto V‘s strong sales on the PS3–the game has managed to sell 10 million units on that system alone. You can check out the finances, which has been posted below.
