Sony’s 12 for ’12 Sale Offers Decent Discounts for Everyone and Deals for Plus Members

on January 16, 2012 5:00 PM

We all know Sony likes its PlayStation Plus members more than the rest of us. The newest PlayStation Store promotion, “12 for ’12,” offers discounts of 30 percent on 12 different downloadable titles for everyone with an Internet connection, a PlayStation 3, a PlayStation Network account and a pulse. Plus members get 50 percent off all these games.

Titles range from the Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection to Rochard and Dungeon Defenders, all knocked down from about $10 to $7 for everyone in the world and $5 for Plus members. It sort of makes you wonder if the folks over at Sony headquarters are this open about which of their children they love most. Probably not. I’ve got that Glenda Okones sketch from last week’s Saturday Night Live on the brain, which is where all these favoritism jokes are coming from. Titles and prices after the jump.

Sony’s “12 for ’12” sale includes:

• PixelJunk SideScroller – Regular price $9.99, Sale $6.99, Plus price $4.89
• PAYDAY: The Heist – Regular price $19.99, Sale $13.99, Plus price $9.79
