With the celebrations for the birthday of the PS4 in full swing, it’s also time to give thanks, and Sony Computer Entertainment VP of Publisher & Developer Relations Adam Boyes, who is also the man who brings us all those third party games on Sony’s new console, took a moment to thank on Twitter both gamers and developers playing and working on the platform:

Thank you to every PlayStation gamer for making PS4’s 1st year an incredible one! Here’s to an even better 2nd year!

Special extra thanks to every single developer making games for our platforms. We literally wouldn’t be anywhere without your great games!

So, what can we expect in this even better second year?

Humbled and we are focused on lots more great content & constant improvements.

with one successful (but not perfect) year in the bag, it’ll be interesting to see what Sony will do to improve on its track record. There’s always room for improvement, after all.

Definitely a multi-platform gamer, he still holds the old dear PC nearest to his heart, while not disregarding any console on the market. RPGs (of any nationality) and MMORPGs are his daily bread, but he enjoys almost every other genre, prominently racing simulators, action and sandbox games. He is also one of the few surviving fans of the flight simulator genre on Earth.
