Sony’s H1Z1 Gets More Snowy Screenshots; Will Have “Great FPS;” 50 Servers Set Up So Far

Sony Online Entertainment’s upcoming Zombie MMORPG H1Z1 is getting closer to the moment in which we’ll be able to play it, and today we got two more snowy pictures in addition to those we saw yesterday, courtesy of Art Director Mat Broome.

You can enjoy them at the bottom (the two new ones are at the top of the picture). Unfortunately they’re small, but that’s what we’re given to see for now.

Broome also mentioned that there will be real time tracks appearing on the snow as you walk on it, and that zombies buried underground grabbing players from below are also a possibility. Finally, he explained that the game will be “very well optimized,” with “great” client and server frame rate. That’s the number one priority for the team.

Great server FPS and client FPS, yes very well optimized. That’s our number one priority daily

Speaking of servers, Sony Online Entertainment President John Smedley also mentioned that so far the team has set up 50 different servers, with lots of different ruleset choices.

Personally, I’m quite eager to give it a try. Admittedly, I’m not the biggest zombie fan in this pre-zombie apocalypse earth, but I can’t say no to an enormous open world.
