Sony’s Michael Denny Shares that Naughty Dog and SCE Santa Monica Will Debut on PS4 “a Little Later”

By now everyone has pretty much noticed that the big hitters in Sony Computer Entertainment’s arsenal Naughty Dog and SCE Santa Monica Studio have been rather silent on the PlayStation 4 side of things, with no titles announced for Sony’s upcoming console yet. SCE Worldwide Studios Europe Vice President Michael Denny Explained what’s up with them as part of an interview on Sony UK’s own PlayStation Access:

We didn’t announce their titles. You know, the reality is that we announced a lot of triple A, a lot of PlayStation first party and third party. I think the teams you talk about there, you’ll have noticed that they’ve done some quite big games on PlayStation 3 recently, yeah? That’s why their PlayStation 4 Debut will come a little later.

It’s worth noting that the interviewer also mentioned Media Molecule, but Denny probably focused on Naughty Dog and SCE Santa Monica in his reply, as the UK-based studio didn’t release a PS3 title recently, and did announce an untitled PS4 game in development at Gamescom.
