Sony’s PS Vita Exclusive JRPG Freedom Wars Gets New Screenshots and Info, Introduces New Character

on December 26, 2013 5:33 AM

Today Sony Computer Entertainment released a batch of new information and screenshots of the upcoming PS Vita Exclusive by Sony Japan Studio Freedom Wars, slated for a 2014 release in Japan.

We meet Natalia, nicknamed “9.” She’s the Captain of the Social Committee of the Security Agency 35 of the Social Defense Group. She’s in charge of the prisoners, and despite the fact that, deep down, she cares about her companions, she normally doesn’t let it show, appearing like a stern and strict military officer.

We also learn that in some locations like the desert there are no buildings, so players will have to fight face to face with the abductors, without the mobility provided by their thorns.

Some abductors also have more than one cocoon where civilian prisoners are held. Depending on the type of the abductor it may be necessary to rescue two or more civilians.

Below you can check out the screenshots released today.
