Talk about feeling sorry for people. I would hate to live in Australia right about now, especially being a hardcore gamer. The Australian government, still lingering on making any changes to the country's classification guidelines, continues to be "refused classification" if a game exceeds the maximum rating of MA 15+. The latest game to endure the sodomy this time around is Valve's Left 4 Dead 2.

What this means, basically, is that the game can't, by any means, be made commercially available in Australia. Of course, I'm pretty sure people will still be able to get their hands on the title by "importing" it; but let's face facts here, people - it's a retarded system. MA 15+? I can only imagine the porn they sell over there which, I'm convinced, consists of Hasidic Jews porking each other using talit katans (some sort of magic tank-top).

Valve has yet to comment on this issue. If they do, we'll make sure to keep you posted. Sorry, Australian gamers... although I do envy you for having a government that cares. :-(
