Soul Brother Makes Death an Actual Thing to Strive For

The games on Adult Swim have always been out there conceptwise, but pretty damned amazing nonetheless, and they’re back with Soul Brother. Developed by Jasper Byrne, the game’s your standard “retro” 2D puzzle platformer, except with the twist that you’re actually a soul that can inhabit other bodies.

Death is almost encouraged here, as your soul gets transferred to another character that has its own set of special abilities. The graphics are pretty as hell to look at as well, with the washed out retro effect playing very very well with the aesthetic. It looks like another winner for Adult Swim, so check it out here bros.

His focus is on indie games specifically, valuing gameplay and ingenuity over sparkly visuals and ridiculous gimmicks. When he's not geeking out over the newest art game, he's out toning his sexy, sculpted shoulders while surfing epic 1.5ft waves, or having a good time with local, high-gravity microbrews.
