Coming hot off the heels of yesterday's Ubisoft news, we have received more information today regarding the developer's upcoming RPG South Park: The Fractured But Whole. We learned yesterday that the game would be launching within Ubisoft's current fiscal year but we now know exactly when that will be: October 17, 2017.

A description for the game also came attached to the new trailer and says the following of The Fractured But Whole:

Evil is rising in the town of South Park. A mysterious vigilante prowls the night defending the innocent using amazing fart powers. As the New Kid, become a super hero and unleash your vigilante justice on the enemies of South Park. Will your time-bending farts be enough to save the day?

The Fractured But Whole was originally delayed last year from its original December 2016 release date and was pushed indefinitely into 2017 where it received no new release window until today. The announcement comes via a new trailer which highlights the superhero-spoof based storyline that centers around Coon and Friends. We also get a couple quick looks at the new combat style that we will be seeing in this sequel. Plus, more fart powers. That's always a good thing.

We will almost certainly see more of The Fractured But Whole at E3 next month so be sure to keep your eyes peeled during that time. Until then, you can check out the new trailer that released today below. South Park: The Fractured But Whole will be coming to PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
