SpeedRunners on the PC is a game all about superheroes looking to outrace, outlast, and out-compete one another in a race to glory, and now with the game's upcoming DLC, they'll be looking to do it in the name of stopping cancer - along with a little help from some (YouTuber) friends.
Starting today, October 20th, 2014, the "King of Speed" SpeedRunners tournament challenge will begin, where teams of characters in SpeedRunners will be divided up and compete in the name of cancer research and fundraising. Specifically, eight popular YouTubers have been adapted into the game as two teams, with each team selling as DLC for $2.99 - the entire sales of the winning DLC team will be donated to cancer research funds, while 30% of all total DLC sales will be applied to the cause.
The tournament will work in that player wins will be tallied up based on which team their characters are assigned to, with the following roster acting as team divisions:
