Playtonic's long gestating Project Ukulele has finally gotten its official title, Yooka-Laylee. Much like the upcoming Mighty No. 9, Yooka-Laylee is coming from the people who made its spiritual successor, Banjo-Kazooie (as well as Donkey Kong Country).

In much the vain of Banjo, Yooka-Laylee is a 3D platformer where the duo, Yooka the chameleon and Laylee the bat, must fight through enemies, traverse levels, and of course, hunt down collectables.

According to IGN the game will attempt to be funded via a Kickstarter launching tomorrow, where $15 will get you the full game come release, and any extra you kick in will likely get you any number of bonuses.

The game will be released on PC, Mac, PS4, Xbox One, and Wii U, though the timing of each version's release depends on how much is raised in the Kickstarter.

We'll likely have many more details on the game come the launch of the Kickstarter tomorrow but until then, you can check out some images of Yooka and Laylee below.
