In an out of the blue announcement, Splatoon is getting a new batch of amiibo coming July 8. This includes a re-skin of the previous three in the Splatoon series (Inkling Boy, Girl, and Squid) as well as new amiibo figures for the Squid Sisters, Callie and Marie. While using the Inkling amiibo players can unlock in-game challenges and gear, it seems the Squid Sister amiibo figures will unlock new songs and in-game performances, mirroring Callie and Marie's Japanese performances.

Check out the screenshots and video below, showcasing the two new amiibo and three re-skins. The Squid Sisters can only be bought in a pack for $24.99, meanwhile the Boy/Girl amiibo are still available individually or in a three-pack with the Inkling Squid for $34.99:
