Splatoon, Nintendo’s latest multiplayer shooter, is getting another balancing update on October 20, 2015. While this software update itself won’t add any new weapons, maps or game modes, free content continues to roll out for Splatoon.
Version 2.2.0 brings various weapon adjustments and bug fixes. It also changes the way ranks in Splatoon will be calculated, in an attempt to balance the more-advanced gameplay modes. Most stages are also being patched so that splash walls cannot be placed in certain areas, that players have reported give an unfair advantage.
