Spotify Launches New Gaming Music Channel

on August 14, 2016 4:59 PM

Spotify has launched a new gaming music channel by the name of…well, Spotify Gaming. The new portal serves as a way to access video game soundtracks and stream them. There are also playlists that Spotify recommends listening to while gaming. You will need a Spotify account to access the soundtracks, however 30 second previews are available if you have yet to sign up. Some of the soundtracks include music from games such as Battlefield 4, I Am Setsuna, Mega Man and even the recently released No Man’s Sky.

The channel gives three options upon entering of browsing either Community Playlists, Original Soundtracks or Spotify Curated. Picking either option gives you a selection of playlists that are comprised from the original games, put together by fans or managed by Spotify itself.

The new channel promises to:

“Power your gaming with curated playlists,
Original Soundtracks and all the best tracks to take
your music and gaming experience to the next level.”
