Star Citizen is rushing it’s $39 million stretch goal, with $38,856,117 gathered from pledges at the moment of this writing, and Cloud Imperium Games finally gave us a glimpse on the single player campaign¬†Squadron 42,¬†which has been kept very much under wraps until now.

While we still aren’t getting screenshots, the developer released a large batch of concept artwork and renders to let us know what kind of environments we can expect. I’m willing to bet we’ll start as a pilot dumped to guard a remote mining base at the outskirts of the galaxy.

You can check out the artwork below and draw your own conclusions.
