Square Enix’s Agni’s Philosophy Next-Gen Tech Demo Comes Back in Shinra Technologies Cloud Gaming Beta

on January 25, 2015 11:03 PM

Remember the beautiful tech demo by Square Enix Agni’s Philosophy? It’s going to reappear as part of the technical beta of the publisher’s upcoming cloud gaming service Shinra Technologies.

The beta will be conducted from February 17th to March 16th in Japan, and will allow players to stream the Agni’s Philosophy demo, Final Fantasy VII International, Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Tomb Raider, Hitman Absolution and Space Sweeper.

The application for the beta can be found here, and the “Shinra Checker” executable can be downloaded here, running it lets you see if your PC is ready for the beta. If you get all green text, you’re all set. Red lines mean that something is amiss.

Mind you, you’re most probably not going to be eligible unless you live in Japan. Even if you have a Japanese Square Enix account (which is necessary to register), the beta is open only to users of NTT East’s FLET’S Hikari Next internet service.
